JOB DESCRIPTION
Gather business requirements and offer critical assessment and recommendation concerning the viability of proposed projects to management including anticipated resource requirements and project risks.
Develop and maintain project plans, task lists, goals, and timetables that meet project objectives.
Understand and implement strong software development life cycle practices among projects and team members.
Promote the professional development of assigned staff.
Negotiate and resolve technical alternatives with project team members.
Collaborate with other project managers regarding their responsibilities including regular communication about shared opportunities or possible shared risks.
When efficient and effective, organize and lead cross-functional teams.
Be responsible for managing full life cycle of software implementation and support projects.
Interface directly with client, managing the customer relation and the customer's expectations.
Work closely with team members building up a positive team attitude.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Good technical background
- Strong leadership and management capability
- Good in problem solving, ability to work independently and in a high-pressure environment.
- Matured, excellent interpersonal skills, pro-active and self-motivated.
- Will to success, commit and done attitude, strong focus on customer.
- Project Manager Certification would be a strong plus.
- Excellent in written English, verbal presentation and visual representation.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
- A Bachelor’s degree in Technology or related field
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum of 3 years related work experience in project management.
- 5 years experience in software outsource industry.
